No Fuss, No Muss: Del Monte Peas

I know the food at The Springfield Retirement Castle isn’t exactly gourmet. But does Abe Simpson really enjoy eating Del Monte Peas from a can? Does anyone enjoy eating peas from a can?

It’s not that Del Monte peas are inedible or taste that bad. At the same time, plain peas eaten directly from a can is never going to be my first choice of meal. Of course, depending on your circumstances Del Monte might be your only option. Especially if you are living in a retirement home that can’t afford quality food, but CAN afford to outfit their nurses with shotguns.

She probably brought the shotgun in from home.

Never leave home without it!

So did you eat the peas?

Eatslikeaduck

Yes, I did eat the peas. And by that I mean I had a spoonful, just like Abe, and used the rest for a casserole.
