Various Eggs

I am a big fan of eating breakfast for dinner. After making this recipe, I am not a fan of eating ONLY eggs for dinner. Homer has the following on his plate of Various Eggs: two sunny side up eggs, four deviled eggs, and three hard boiled eggs. That is the equivalent of seven eggs! Obviously Homer is up to the challenge of eating this, but I was most certainly not. Either way, it’s still better than Soy-ghettiO’s.

Ingredients

  • Eggs

Directions

Sunny Side Up Eggs – Previous recipe is here

Deviled Eggs – Previous recipe is here

For Hard Boiled Eggs, boil water and place eggs in that boiling water for about 10 minutes. Let them cool completely before peeling.

Did I mention this is a lot of eggs? For the purposes of not wasting food and also because I was hungry I did eat both sunny side up eggs and two deviled eggs and one hard boiled egg in one sitting. Then over the course of the next week I slowly worked my way through the remaining eggs. But my heart wasn’t in it. Possibly due to cholesterol, possibly because I don’t like eggs that much. Or maybe I liked eggs before I did this recipe and now I don’t because I’ve reached egg overload.

While it has been established that eggs contain cholesterol, it has not yet been proven conclusively that they actually raise the level of serum cholesterol in the human blood stream.

I just saw this episode last night and was wondering when you were going to tackle it. Love your blog, please keep it up and hopefully you won’t die from a heart attack before all the recipes have been tried out.

Don’t worry, if I have to apply for a life insurance policy under “Heart Attacks” I’ll cross out 3 and write 0…after all, I thought it said “Brain Hemorrhages.”
